19x10 ft Upgraded Aluminum Pergola Kit Thickened Louvered Extension

We love the pergola, exactly what we wanted. Looks great, sturdy and it completes our back yard. It also give our backyard the neccessary shade we need for the summer time. The louvers are a great feature, open and close your option.
It did take a while to get the nuts and bolts, they were missing from everything else we got. Cherylife the manufacture did work to get them sent to us. Purple Leaf Customer service was great, they always kept us informed.

I am beyond impressed with this product - from the design, to the assembly process, to the customer service! Here are the key points:- It looks great! It's lightweight, but sturdy, with a wonderful finish on the aluminum. Also, I was so happy to see that they don't use stickers that leave a residue on the product when you peel them off! BONUS POINTS!- It goes together easily! My husband and I were able to assemble it in less than 2 hours! Now, that being said, I'm one of those weirdos that enjoys assembling furniture in the dim light, with a glass of wine and some calming instrumentals on a Saturday night. It brings me calm when most people would be cursing everyone that thinks that Ikea is something other than a torture superstore. THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE YOU FOR ASSEMBLY: Don't tighten the screws on each step until all of them are in. I had no issues getting them aligned, didn't have to route out any holes to make them fit, I just got them all in place before I cranked down on the wrench. The parts are very well engineered, labeled consistently and come with very clear instructions.

It was easy to build and I'm very happy with the end product. It's just what I expected and the customer service was outstanding. I recommend it.

We recently purchased this pergola in hopes that it would solve our sun/wind issues on our patio. We tried a 11 foot patio umbrella in the past and it moved around quite a bit due to wind. We were looking for something that would provide sun blocking and that would hold up in the wind as well and figured we would give this option a try.

The product arrived quickly and was not damaged during shipping. The instructions were easy to follow and assembly went smoothly with 2 people. There were a couple of holes that were not drilled in the right place, but was easily corrected. The frame of the product is a lightweight, greyish colored aluminum and is sturdy when assembled. We ordered the grey canopy option and the color is very nice with the frame. We attached the pergola to our cement patio and so far, it has been great! The retractable cover is easy to use and locks into place when the canopy is open. We will add curtains or shades on the sides to help with some of the sun block due to the way the sun moves across our patio, but sun block from the canopy top is great. I had to reach out to customer service for one issue we had, but they followed up promptly and were able to take care of this matter quickly and properly. We are happy with our new addition and hope that it provides us with years of sun protection.

The pergola seems to be well constructed and solid. The assembly instructions could be more concise. Some parts were hard to figure out but we finally got it completed.
