I love this pergola. It was actually much easier to put together than I thought it would be and looks great. I have had many friends compliment it -- even some stubborn ones have said "well designed" and "worth it".
I had a neighbor help me put it together and it took about 2 1/2 hours. I would definitelyrecommend a ladder and if you have an allen screwdriver or drill with the bit, you will want that available in addtion to what's provided.
Total 5 out 5 here. Couldn't be happier.

We absolutely love this pergola. It took my son and me less than three hours to assemble ( we have both technical backgrounds, so keep that in mind ) . The product arrived in good shape with only a few dents here and then that are barely noticeable. The four covers for the posts were missing. We contacted customer service and they were sent to us in a few days ( it did not delay the assembly ). It is very stable and sturdy, which surprised me in a positive way, since for the price I was suspecting it could be kind of flimsy. Great value! My sister saw it and will buy one too and get rid of her wooden gazebo. The curtains and mosquito nets are a great feature, that are functionality and elegance. Be careful when installing them, since they have different heights because of the slope of the pergola.
Assembly went smoothly overall, with a few pointers to share. The instructions advise against tightening the bolts until the assembly is complete. However, due to bolts being located inside the corner posts, waiting until the end isn't feasible. I recommend starting with these bolts as they can be trickier to align. I tightened the bolts inside the corner posts and the top bolts on all crossbars before attaching the top covers/louvers to each side. This ensures easier access for tightening. Apart from this, assembly was straightforward.
Overall, we're thrilled with the purchase. I highly recommend this louvered pergola.
Update: Following our first heavy rain with the louvers closed, everything beneath the pergola remained dry. However, the back of the cushions around the edge did get wet, likely due to rain blowing through the screen. The louvers and gutter system performed admirably.
The pergola is fabulous. I assembled this in four and a half hours by myself. It had some minor flaws that I repaired myself easily. Once finished I sat and had dinner under it. The louver system is easily installed and operated. I can't wait for the first rain so I can see how it works.
