12x12 ft Patio Gazebo, Outdoor Permanent Hardtop Gazebo Canopy

Can be very tedious to put together, but once together is maintenance free.

This gazebo was very easy to assemble and very well made. Directions were easy to follow and come very well organized in boxes.

Took 5 hrs for myself to spread a tarp out (since building on my new resurfaced deck), spread out all the framing parts, inventory them, and build the complete frame. The instructions don't have text on them, but if you look them over carefully and study the parts, it's a piece of cake. At least for me.
I stopped at putting the roofing panels on, because it got warm and late in the day.
4 days later I put the roof on, by myself (well, wife handed some parts). Here is a small hint when putting the roof panels on. This helped me put them up and keep them up until time to bolt them on. Use the very long 6mm bolts and slide them in at the bottom of the panel, where the regular bolts go through. Just the bolts no nuts, they are there just to keep the panels in place until they are all up on one side. I only put a couple in each panel.. Then put the regulars bolts in with the spacers.
I did this with the small top roof section and the large bottom section. Made it a one person job.
The roofing part took another 3 hrs, but I was in no hurry. I did need help in getting the bolts and nut tight.
Remember don't tighten all bolts until sections are level (uprights and angle brackets), all roofing supports are in, and also wait until all panels are in before getting them tight.
Only had one problem with one hole, loosen a few bolts and everything came together.
Been using it everyday.
I recommend it.

The instructions are a little unclear. Some steps are out of order in my opinion. The roof is the hardest. Make sure to do the center "R" pieces last! Built it in about 9 hours time with just my girlfriend. Some of the hardware is crap. Some of the parts were bent. Overall it looks nice but some parts look bent, did the best I could to straighten.

It took two workers 12 hours to put the 12'x16' Galvanized Steel unit up. By far, the hardest section was the roof. Once figured out, it was still difficult and fiddly, as everything has to fit precisely. As with most DIY items with hundreds of parts, there were a few minor issues that I brought up with the vendor, and they happily took care of them right away. Nothing major. The very few minor leaks (determined with a strong water hose test) will be taken care of with silicone or whatever. Just a little more labor time. It's actually quite amazing how water tight the roof is with just metal on metal. This unit is strong and I expect it to last a long time. My number one tip is to use an electrical screwdriver or drill with torque adjustment for all the bolts; a huge time saver. I would definitely buy this again.
